This project explores a certification mark designed to identify traditional food products originating from the Transylvania region of Romania. The symbol functions as a quality seal applied to packaging, helping consumers recognize products that are verified and approved as authentic regional specialties. The brief proposed the shield as a central motif, symbolizing protection, authenticity, and regional heritage. The design exploration incorporates visual references connected to Transylvania’s cultural and historical landscape. Developed as a stamp-like mark, the symbol is intended to be easily recognizable and reproducible across product labels, packaging, and promotional materials, reinforcing the idea of protected origin and traditional craftsmanship.
